Historical Note:

As anyone knows from just a few minutes with a newspaper or television, we are a long way from achieving peace across the world. But today is nothing like the summer of 1944, when the Allies were sweeping across France on their way to Berlin!

In August of 1944, Paris was liberated from Hitler's iron grasp. To commemorate that momentous event, this 1:43 scale, die cast set features two of the French vehicles that participated in the task: a Citroen Traction Avant 11AL belonging to the French resistance (French Forces of the Interior) and a Renault AHN cargo truck confiscated from the Germany Army.

Both models are made of die cast metal and arrive together in the presentation box shown.
