"LT CORDRAY'S" BIRDCAGE F4U CORSAIR

China's direct entry into the US die-cast aircraft market is taking off! They (Yat Ming) have just released "four" new planes in addition to the "four" that they had previously released in 1999, for a total of "eight" new planes! The eight new aircraft types include the P-47D Thunderbolt, P-51 Mustang, F4U-1 Corsair, F6F-5N Night Hellcat, Spitfire MK V, Russian Mig-3, Japanese Mitsubishi Zero, and the German Messerschmitt Bf 109! Each of the eight aircraft types has (2) different squadron or "paint scheme" options. 

This new line of die-cast aircraft for Yat Ming is called their "Air Legends" World War II Series Airplane Collection and features 1:48 scale production, wing spans of 10 - 11 inches, die-cast metal casting, spinning prop, rotating wheels, retractable main gear, pilot,  sharp looking graphics and display stand.

The Air Legends aircraft featured above is the "Lt. Cordray's" F4U Corsair.
