The Douglas DC-4 is a four-engined propeller-driven airliner developed by the Douglas Aircraft Company. It served during World War II, in the Berlin Airlift and into the 1960s in a military role. From 1945, many civil airlines operated it worldwide.

I really like this quality made aircraft! I buy Hobby Master for this reason. My Father’s brother flew the C-54 during the Berlin Airlift.

This is a beautiful c-54 or dc-4 from hm airliners collection in 1/200 scale. My model is almost perfect, good paint, it is not snappy, landing gears fitted perfect, but the propellers do not have a symmetric or uniform distribution of blades. It is hard to discover such defect because it is not too strong. I give five stars because this is an excellent model as a function of quality vs price. A similar dc-4 from other brands may cost nearly 100 dollars and they are not much better than this. I have also dc-6 and dc-7 from this collection, the best is the dc-6.
