PAPPY BOYINGTON F4U CORSAIR
This issue from Spec Cast was a huge success and laid the foundation for the subsequent Corsair releases. Without any advertising, Spec Cast completely sold out of this great airplane early in 1998. This was definitely the most sought after issue that I have ever witnessed. If you only add one airplane to your display shelf from the 1998 year, this is the one you should acquire. It is the first stock number in the Corsair's released( Stk #47500). I was fortunate to secure several cases of these airplanes early enough before they sold out, and still have a few left! It won't be very much longer before this airplane will be harder to find than a sock in the dryer!
