SU SU II NORTH AMERICAN P-51 MUSTANG
The P-51 Mustang, built by North American Aviation, is a single-place, low wing monoplane powered by a Packard-built Rolls Royce engine. Designed as a fighter, it was equipped to carry bombs, chemical tanks and rockets. It also had six .50-caliber machine guns on both wings. Considered a masterful replica of an authentic war plane, this item is based on a plane restored by retired astronaut, Frank Borman. Named for Frank's wife, Susan. Produced in late 1990's, this collector piece will definitely draw attention. Wing span measure just over 10 inches!
