MILLER LITE LOCKHEED VEGA
This Liberty Classics Lockheed Vega is a limited edition die cast metal bank. It has a removable pilot canopy for coin insertion, rotating propeller and wheels, and a rotating engine cowl that pulls of for coin removal. Weighing more than a pound, this airplane measures 11 inches wing span by 8 inches in length. This Miller Lite Vega model was produced in early 1990's!
Historical Note: Frederic Miller, a German immigrant and brewmaster, arrived in Milwaukee in 1855. That year he purchased the Plank Road Brewery and produced 300 barrels of high quality lager beer. Today Miller Brewing Co. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Phillip Morris with 8,000 employees operating in six states.
