TEXACO #6 1929 CURTISS ROBIN
This is the latest in the "Wings of Texaco" series and has definitely gotten a bad rap because of the "Yellow #5 Travel Air" that landed in each case of these Curtiss Robins. This is unfortunate, as this airplane carries the quality and detail of the Texaco series just fine by itself. From the steel tubing(struts) to the radial engine cylinders to the wood grain propeller, this airplane is well done and flashes with nostalgia. Feature include the rubber tires that roll, prop that spins and very well done hatches for hidden bank access. The wingspan measures approx. 13 inches.
