The airplane featured above is the special 1998 collectors edition release from Ertl shipped with each case of #6 Texaco Curtiss Robin aircraft. This aircraft was made intentionally for this promotional twist and has created the hype and discussion intended by Texaco. In every case of the Texaco #6 Curtiss Robin aircraft is one "yellow" #5 1930 Travel Air (eleven of the Curtiss Robin aircraft and one of the "yellow" #5 airplanes per case).
