One of the most formidable military aircraft of WWII, the Ilyushin II was produced in vast numbers. Over 36,000 of this Soviet two seat ground attack plane were used during the war. Top speed was 255 m.p.h. and its range was 475 miles. Cannons, machine guns and 4 bombs were usual armaments.
