MOBILGAS STINSON DETROITER
This Gearbox collectible is one of only twenty-five hundred made. It has a hidden coin slot, attached key, working propeller, rotating rubber wheels, quality tampo graphics and is made of heavy die cast metal. This airplane measures 11 inches in wing span by 8 inches long and weighs over a pound.
Historical note: The Stinson Detroiter is well known as the American aircraft with a completely enclosed sound -proof and heated cabin. It was also the first to incorpate brakes onto its landing gear. The Detroiter was an excellant vehicle for winter flying, eventually winning awards for its reliability and endurance.
