Forces of Valor vehicles and aircraft feature true-to-life detail with lots to discover and explore… tank tracks that really roll along their independent suspension… hatches & access ports that reveal internal compartments… turrets & gun barrels that maneuver just like they did in battle… all these exacting details bring these combat proven machines to life!
The Sturmgeschultz III was one of the early produced assault/tank destroyers manufactured by the German Army during WWII. The simplicity, cost and time to produce were definitive advantages that led to great production numbers during the early years of WWII. However, once the Sturgeschultz III encountered the heavy Russian tank divisions they were soundly defeated due to weak armor protection. To counter this Russian threat, the Sturmgeschultz was upgraded with greater armor protection and improved cannon firepower. The Superstructure was redesigned to provide additional protection for the tank commander. A new, more powerful 75mm cannon and new armor steel plate skirts were added and the new designation was Sturmgeschutz III Ausf. G.
