AH-64A APACHE ATTACK HELICOPTER

KUWAIT, 1991

The Forces of Valor... these are the men that fought the battles. They came from every nation and every creed to battle on their countries behalf. Today’s fighting forces are similar to those of the past. The makeup of men, now joined by women, remains basically the same. Acts of heroism, keen determination, and sheer willpower define today’s Forces of Valor…

Forces of Valor vehicles and aircraft feature true-to-life detail with lots to discover and explore… tank tracks that really roll along their independent suspension… hatches & access ports that reveal internal compartments… turrets & gun barrels that maneuver just like they did in battle… all these exacting details bring these combat proven machines to life!

February 15th, 1990 Desert Shield became Desert Storm. The Boeing AH-64A Apache Attack Helicopter was known to be the preeminent and most powerful tank killer in the Gulf War. An all-weather attack helicopter designed specifically to meet the rigid requirements of the US Army's Advanced Attack Helicopter Plan. The Apache is equipped with state of the art electronic technology, including the nose mounted TADS (Target acquisition Designation System) for multiple targeting and terrain sensing in a total darkness with the PNUS (Pilot Night Vision System). The firepower is awesome. The Apache can be loaded with 16 AGM-114 Hellfire Missiles, AIM-9 Sidewinder air-to-air missiles, and laser guided anti-ground munitions.
