Acts of heroism, keen determination, and sheer willpower define today’s Forces of Valor…

Forces of Valor vehicles and aircraft feature true-to-life detail with lots to discover and explore… tank tracks that really roll along their independent suspension… hatches & access ports that reveal internal compartments… turrets & gun barrels that maneuver just like they did in battle… all these exacting details bring these combat proven machines to life!

In the early 1930's, the German Army wanted to develop a heavy tank to reinforce their armored units. The development program was dramatically accelerated based upon the German light tank units heavy casualties inflicted by the Russian armored tank divisions. The Third Reich designed the Tiger tank, which was planned to be a "concentration point weapon" and would supplement existing armored regiments. New independent heavy armored unit were created to be available to German High Command to concentrate units and firepower wherever they deemed necessary. Despite technical problems at the onset of deployment, and an unfavorable power-to-weight ratio, the Tiger I was the main and dominant heavy battle tank for the German Army until the end of the Third Reich.
