NOTE:    The 3rd Infantry Division was activated in November 1917 and first saw servcie during WWI, where it earned its nickname "Rock of the Marne" for its unwillingness to retreat.The Division provided the bulk of the forces used in Operation Iraqi Freedom. They engaged the Medina Division of the Iraqi Republican Guard and eventually moved into Baghdad, capturing the airport. These figures appear in the standard three-pattern desert-camoflage uniform.
