USN VA-115 EAGLES "1996 LAST FLIGHT" A-6E INTRUDER
Designed to meet a US Navy requirement for a long-range low-level tactical attack/strike aircraft, the A6 was first flown on April 19th, 1960.
New from Century Wings! A very impressive 1:72 scale model with incredible detail and accuracy! Each model includes a selection of weapons and removeable pilot figure. Most notable however, are the completed landing gear sub-assemblies that snap quickly and easily into place, thus eliminating the multiple steps found on some of the more popular models.
The A-6 Intruder is a twin-engine, mid-wing attack aircraft built by Grumman Aerospace. In service between 1963 and 1997, the Intruder was designed as a replacement for the piston-engined A-1 Skyraider.
Limited Edition of 1000 pieces worldwide.

About Century Wings: The "Century Wings" range presents highly-detailed, ready-made diecast models of military aircraft. Beginning with the ever popular F-14 Tomcat, Century Wings are setting a new standard in 1:72 diecast for detail and accuracy. Each model includes a selection of weapons and removeable pilot figures. Most notable however, are the completed landing gear sub-assemblies that snap quickly into place, elminating the frustration of attaching numerous individual gear doors and struts found on similar diecast models.
