The Mitchell B-25 is a twin-engine, medium-sized bomber aircraft that was operational for nearly four long decades. Designed by the North American Aviation company, the B-25 Mitchell was a bomber aircraft which flew not only under the United States Army Air Forces but also under the major nations under Allied Air Forces during the World War II. These nations included: the British Royal Air Force, Canadian Royal Air Force and later on the Australian Air Force. To date, there are about 10,000 units in different variants and models produced before the manufacturing stopped in . B-25 Mitchell bombers saw a lot of its action in the Pacific ream and the east, particularly in Asian countries like Burma. This bomber aircraft is relatively small, so it's a single-seater plane but proved mighty attack aircraft. Armed with varied armaments of rockets, bombs and machine guns, the B-25 proved its usefulness and effectiveness throughout the war. Toward the end of the war and even after, the highly efficient Mitchell airplanes found their way in several Armed Corps all over the world like Brazil, Canada, France, U.K. and Soviet Union to name only a few.
