  ABOUT "MAIDEN FLIGHT" TRADING CARDS

Alpha Tango Charlie, Inc. announces the release of its first set of aircraft trading cards. This first series, called “Maiden Flight”, is the first of several aviation publications intended to attract kids into the passion of aviation. The aircraft trading cards are a collectable, educational and imaginative view into the world of aviation, using a media that is portable, versatile and familiar to kids.

Its purpose is to encourage kids to become interested and involved in aviation by both introducing new kids to the world of aviation and feeding the appetite of existing aviation-enlightened kids to obtain more aviation knowledge and experience. Although designed for kids, adults share the same interest in the aircraft trading cards, if not more.

Unlike the fictional battle-based trading cards, these aviation trading cards are based on reality, history, tangible facts and the culture of aviation. During early focus group studies, parents preferred the aircraft trading cards because the parents could relate to the cards and share the experience with their children. Parents also appreciated the educational nature of the cards.

  TRADING CARDS FEATURES

Each pack of cards contains eleven cards - eight aircraft cards, two aviation trivia cards and one fact card - wrapped in a clear plastic.

Aircraft Cards - The 88-card base-set features a high-quality color photo of an aircraft on the front side, with interesting and fun facts about the aircraft on the back side. Aircraft from all categories of aviation are featured on these cards, including:

To add to the trivia theme, each trivia card is uniquely numbered with an aircraft altimeter displaying an altitude setting to indicate the card number.

Top Card –Each pack contains one of eleven top cards used for packaging identification. While the fronts of the top cards are identical, the back contains fun aviation facts and information including:

Sample pilot checklists. (Pre-flight and take-off)

Aircraft Registration Prefixes - To identify the country an aircraft is based.
Aircraft Spotter Logs – To allow kids to record aircraft sightings.
