The Panzer III L is a 1:72 scale model composed mainly of diecast metal. The turret and hull of the tank are separate pieces composed of metal. Only the small accessories such as wheels and tools are fashioned out of plastics. As anyone would imagine,  it is very difficult to manufacture such small parts in metal. The weight of the tank is amazing. The tracks do not move on this model; however, the turret turns a full 360 degrees and the barrel moves up and down.
The paint scheme for the Panzer III L is that of the German Africa Corps in northern Africa during World War II. The weathering on this model is perfect and no detail was missed in the design and production of this miniature marvel.
