It was originally designated the A4D under the US Navy's pre-1962 designation system. This model airplane is so colorful and SO detailed! I love the blues and the size of the plane is great. It is cool knowing that there is a history that comes with it. It shipped fast, and safely too. I am such a fan of this, it is the new jewel of my collection!
