Historical Note Cont'd:    The F-100 American Fokker, or popularly called “Fokker 100”, is a medium size twin-turbofan passenger aircraft manufactured by the Fokker Company. The Fokker 100 first flew on November 30 1986. The F-100 airline could accommodate 85-122 passengers.

By 1991, Fokker had produced 70 units and had orders for a total of more than 230. An extended range version with additional fuel tanks in the wings was introduced in 1993, and a quick-change passenger/freighter version in 1994, the 100QC.
