“The Huff” F-86F Sabre in glorious 1:18 scale. It also features for the first time, the first accurate rendition of the weird nose art until recently unknown on the stbd nose of The Huff. Bill’s Baby, the weird MiG-eating creature, Miss Terry, and the crew names have never been represented before in a collectible. Also correctly represented for the first time are the muted colors of the Dragon on the port side of the Huff. It has always been depicted in a bright green, but color photos show it to be a much darker military green color. Extensive, accurate stenciling completes the authentic look of the new Sabre.

The 21st Century Toys F-86F Sabre features the 6-3 hard wing that helped turn the tide and brought the Sabre to air superiority status in the skies over Korea in 1953. It also features an accurately shaped, super-clear canopy with attached rear equipment shelf. All flying surfaces have thin trailing edges and feature a full range of movement.

What about the powerplant? A unique deep intake finish adds to the realism and the exhaust pipe terminates deep inside the airframe leading to a detailed turbine face!

Got guns? Fully detailed gun bays are revealed when the panel covers are removed. In addition opening ammo bay doors drop down and double as the step up onto the wing. Working dive brakes, too! The cockpit is fully equipped with the simple ballistic ejection seat designed specifically for the F-86 complete with harness, and a super detailed instrument panel with readable dials. This Sabre surely sets new standards for 1/18th scale aircraft. Just add JP-4 jet fuel and you are all set to gun down the MiG-15!
